Conditions:  Mid-30’s and rainy.  Perfect morning for a beat down.

Start promptly at 5:30 with disclaimer accepted by all.

Warm-up:

  • Stretches attempting (some successful others not so) to touch toes
  • Down to Right ankle
  • Down to Left ankle
  • Down to Center
  • Up with some Casey Casums
  • Monkey Humpers (10)
  • Grass Pickers (10)
  • Huggie Bears (10)
  • SSH (15)
  • Abe Vagotas (10)
  • On Six for:
  • Hammy stretches right over left, left over right
  • Wife Pleasers (10)

The Thang:

Is is going to be a mental simple work-out, so I posed a question for the PAX to ponder during the beat down.   What is the WHY?  Why are we up and out before 5:30 in the morning in early Januruary.   Answers will be discussed at the round of Mary stage of beatdown.

The Thang is a simple counting exercised.  10 different exercises each increasing by 10 reps.  At the end of each rep we will perform 5 (perfect) burpees.   After the burpees we will mosey around the circle.   The first HIM back decides the position to hold for the 6.   Once the 6 arrive the next exercise begins.   So on and so forth until time.

70- Should Taps (4 count)

80- Calf Raise

Round of Mary-  We held plank while each PAX got to talk about his WHY.  We ran short on time, so some PAX were spared from spilling there guts.
