The BackBlast:
Nine PAX posted for our Tuesday afternoon workout. Picasso achieved his 50th workout despite shoulder surgery. He hasn’t let that deter him and has modified accordingly. Not to be outdone, Kettle Corn is now scheduled for surgery on his Achilles but also posted to gimp along with us. We’re becoming the PAX of misfits with our various injuries and ailments. Nonetheless, it is great to continue to press forward as we encourage each other during the recovery periods.
Disclaimer was given including if anyone tears a tendon they can’t sue the Q
From this point forward the Post of Honor is carried throughout the workout and cannot touch the ground (it did however hit the ceiling of the pavilion when Kettle Corn was using it for overhead presses while modifying)

I forgot the other exercise we did during this round but that is par for the course during this workout. I’ve been off my game this week and during the workout the PAX had to keep their eye on me with my counting and instructions. It didn’t help that half the group was distracted with the excitement of comparing scores and results of the first set of games for the fantasy football league. Also, the General stopped by halfway through the workout and further distracted us (although it is always good to have additional men drop in). In addition, at this point a group of about 10 kids stopped by and joined us in our exercises. We always welcome interaction with the kids and community. Back to the workout…
Elevens: 10 Step Ups: 1 Carolina Dry Dock; ladder to 1 Step Up: 10 Carolina Dry Docks

COT: prayers for Picasso and Kettle Corn’s recoveries; prayers for a young man with a neck injury and Woz’s M who is recovering from neck surgery.
Following the workout, 4 PAX went to Pizza Como for dinner and continued fellowship.
