The Thang:

It was a cold and windy morning, but the Q was already warm and ready after the Early Bird Special.   Today’s beatdown was a collection of different circuits.

3 Thangs:  Singleton Out, Low and Slow, Dragon Arms

We moseyed from the flag to the pavilion near the playset by way of going around the circle.

Thang 1: Singleton Out

Not the most creative name.  The PAX circled up.  1 PAX would run to the playset and perform 10 reps of a certain exercise, while the remaining PAX performed a different exercise to failure.  Each time the singleton remained another PAX would run to the playset, rinse and repeat until all PAX performed the singleton exercise.   There were 3 sets.

Set 1:  Singleton Exercise:  10 Underdogs   Group: Hand Release Merkins

Set 2:  Singleton Exercise: 10 Swing Merkin (Swerkins?,  feet up on swing)   Group: DIPs

Set 3:  Singleton Exercise: 10 Pull Ups        Group: High Plank

Thang 2:  Low and Slow

Another not so creative name (a bit deceiving as well!).

The PAX moseyed from the Pavilion to the straight a-way.  The PAX will line up on there chests at the light pole.  The Q would say GO at which point the PAX would perform a travel exercise to the next pole.  Once at the next pole a stationary exercised would be perform and the PAX would return to there chests ready for the next round.

Pole 1:   Sprint to next Pole and 50 Squats

Pole 2:  Bear Crawl to next Pole and 10 Diamond Merkins

Pole 3: Inch Worm (or some type of inching worm) ad 10 Dry Docks

Turn around and repeat to the end of the poles.

Thang 3:  Dragon Arms

Unfortunately we ran short of time, so we did not perform the final Thang.  It will remain a mystery until the next time.

Mosey back to the flag
