03/04/2023 - Grill - Crawling Around

The Grill was very damp following the night rain but the Grill was heating up.  Eleven PAX posted including one FNG who was invited by Myra.  Myra came rolling in right after the disclaimer was given for the benefit of our FNG.  Teardrop and The Rock pulled in and joined us as we were halfway down the street on our way to “Death Valley”.

Crab Walk to the next corner

Bear Crawl to the next corner

Crab walk back to the next corner

Bear Crawl back to the first corner

Repeat 3 more times, increasing reps by one at each corner

Mosey to the corner of Island and Park Ave

• 10 Maktar N’Diayes IC each arm

Form two lines of 5 PAX and 6 PAX; Indian Run to the bottom of Franklin Street

• 10 No Surrenders IC each leg

NUR halfway up Franklin Street and then sprint to the corner of Peach Alley; Myra and The Rock were in the lead and racing each other but our FNG who came from behind almost caught them

Potsie is away this weekend so we didn’t have a formal Q point but we reviewed the four quadrants of leadership.

COT: we named our FNG ChooChoo since he works for the railroad and unfortunately confessed that he dislikes trains.  Welcome ChooChoo!

The Grill 5-year manniversary is coming up April 8th

Prayers for two children of friends of some of the PAX who are going through heart issues and bone cancer, praise/prayers for Ditto’s granddaughter who recently had heart surgery; prayers for friend of DrewZ

Pocahontas drove up just in time to take our group photo and then he joined us for coffeeteria at Four Twelve where we were also joined by Ditto and the General.  We had a full house and it was great to see such a large gathering of men.

We are looking forward to seeing how the Grill continues to grow
