Felt like Spring out there. End of October and we’re still in shorts and T-shirts. 6 PAX rallied around the flag for a Halloween Weekend workout. F3 core principles and disclaimer was given and accepted by all. *Lilo joined us but his name doesn’t appear to be in the drop down.
Warmup: Motivators to 5 followed by some light stretching. Then grab a coupon and mosey to the playground parking area.
The Thang: The Hive 500. Inspired by the Iron Pax Cindy 500. We had 5 exercises with 20 reps each completed 5 times. Once we completed a set of the 5 exercises we would sprint for 60 yards with a heartrate recovery walk back to the starting position. All reps were done in unison. Exercises included Merkins, Squats, Shoulder Presses, Curls and Bent Rows. All with coupons except for Merkins.
When all were completed we put the coupons back in their natural habitat. At Jack Knifes suggestion we added blockees while walking the coupons home. Each Pax would exclaim “Oh what a lovely morning” and all Pax dropped for a Blockee.
We returned to the shovel flag for a full round of Mary and finished with a round of penalty burpees.
