The BackBlast:
In honor of….well nothing but to just hit a ball around the hive.
Golf workout. Everyone brought a 5 or 6 iron and we ‘played the hive’.
First hole: hit down the alley from parking lot to football field. Best ball. Bear crawl to worst ball.
Second hole. Drive the length of the football field. Play own ball. lunge to worst ball.
3rd hole: Chip to hit the goal post. Teams of 3. Chipping from goal line. Sprint to ball and reset. Try not to hit other players (used whiffle balls)
4th hole: The run around. Each player gets 1 shot in turn. Hit ball around the pavilion. Everyone else does pullups or dips.
5th hole: Sandtrap. Play own ball. Hit over net. Mary while others hit. sand was concrete.
Final hole: Simon and Garfunkle – next to bridge, hit over creek or 10 ‘merkins. Surprisingly most all did.
Jog home.
