Trail Randorama


Conditions: mid 60s and sunny

YHC uncharacteristically did not have a weinke or even a solid plan for the day’s workout…it was one of those weeks where time got away from me.  So what does one do?  Run the Schuylkill River Trail and think of things to do along the way.

Mosey to the bridge.  Dealer’s Choice for warm-a-rama: Arm Circles, Abe Vigoda, Grass Pickers, Side Squats, Monkey Humpers, Butt Kickers, and probably something else

Power skip across the bridge (it probably looked great from Old Route 22–4 grown men skipping along)

Mosey to Industrial Drive and stop for ATMs

March of Bataan — Indian Run, last in line does 5 Burpees and sprints to catch up.  Each did 2 sets of burpees.

Round of chest exercises (dealer’s choice): Ranger Merkins, Carolina Dry Docks, Derkins (off a log), Wide Merkins.


Round of leg exercises: Squats, Bonnie Blairs, Motivators (10 to 5)

Mosey to Bartram Trail parking lot

Captain Thor: Big Boy Sit Ups/American Hammer in a 1:4 ratio.  Laddered from 1:4 up to 6:24


Mosey to Industrial Drive

Back Planks, Side Planks (each side) for 10 count around


Sprint across the bridge

Mosey back to the shovel flag by 8:00.  We ran ~ 2 miles.

COT: Prayers for Wichita’s M and family

All went to Four Twelve for coffeeteria where Pocahontas and Wichita conspired to do a trial Tuesday morning workout at the Grill.  Hoping this becomes a regularly scheduled workout!
