There’s Snow Way to Stop Us

Three of us gathered on the snow glazed parking lots of Faith Church.  While it was a bit cold slippery, the Beat Down did its job.  On my first Q and just after Dr. Seuss’ b-day, I decided to do a Dr. Seuss’ greatest hits workout.  Warm up consisted of neck rolls, trunk rolls, Abe-Vagodas, grass pickers, mercans, Peter Parkers, mountain climbers, calf stretch, hamstring stretch.  I found out it’s harder to count on cadence than I thought.  Then, a little mosey to the inclined drive where Partners A did Burpees and Partner B did a sprint up the hill, then squats/sprints, then wife pleasers/sprint.  Mosey to the front of the church for dercans and Bonnie Blair’s.   Mosey some more to the side of the church for planks and pull-ups (got yelled at by the custodian for making tracks on the sidewalk, won’t do that again).  Next, mosey to the other inclined entrance for 30x30s.  Heavy breathing at this point by all, as we headed for a block party.  We did 10 curls with the blocks, back rows, then lunges.  We ended it with dealer’s choice 3 rounds of Mary and skipped “catch me if you can”.  We had prayers and praises for Dr. Seuss’ sons who are serving our country in the military.  I’m just glad I didn’t lose anyone on my first q.
