Rain in the park

We ran, stuff happened.

 

The above is the content of my original post. That is a pitiful Backblast! I must do better. I owe it. You deserve better. I deserve better. What in your life are you half assing?

 

So here it is.

 

Dropbox and Dr. Seuss showed up at the house. My 2.0 Sticks decided to join us again this week.

 

Sidenot: You can bring your 2.0s if you so wish. Just remember it is a ½ mile run to the park and ½ mile back. My 2.0 rides his bike.

The plan was to play a game of football. The wet stuff was falling and the grass was slippery so that plan fell through. Time to adapt and overcome.

The Thang

Part 1

Partner up.

At one end PAX 1 is doing squats while PAX 2 runs to the pavilion and does 5 Mountain Climbers in cadence. Flapjack upon return. This continued until the first group reached 400 squats. (Proud of my 2.0 for hanging in there!)

Part 2

At the pavilion it was time for abs.

30 each:

  • Leg Raises
  • WW1 Sit-ups
  • American Hammers
  • Back Abs

We then switched to upper body.

Part 3:

  • Irkins
  • 15 Dips
  • Merkins
  • 15 Dips
  • Carolima Dry Docks
  • 15 Dips
  • Derkins

We then moseyed back to the house where we huddled up for some 2nd F and 3rd F.

The topic of the week is FEAR. What is keeping you from living the life God has planned for you. Are you taking the necessary steps to claim that blessing? To serve your community? To be the man God wants you to be and the world needs you to be?
