Rain was forecast to arrive at the time of the workout but held off just enough to fit in the planned routines.

Warm-a-rama: mosey to “Death Valley” for Arm Circles, Sun Gods “sobriety style”, Air Press “sobriety style”, Abe Vigoda, Toy Soldiers, Cobra, Calf Stretch, BSE, Mountain Climbers

The Thang:

Mosey back to the shovel flag

The Cooper

  • 10 Merkins
  • 10 Big Boy Sit ups
  • 10 Squats
  • Run to corner of Island and Park Ave and back (~ 10o yards round trip)
  • Ladder down to 1 rep each exercise

Drizzle started to pick up by the last two rounds

Move to the bandstand just in time for the clouds to let loose with rain

BLIMPS:

  • 5 Burpees
  • 10 Lunges (IC)
  • 15 Imperial Walkers (IC)
  • 20 Merkins (ranger-style) IC
  • 25 Plank Jacks (IC)
  • 30 Squats (IC)

We took a break for Potsie to give us our weekly Q point as we wrapped up the 3rd quadrant on Lead Right

Run through the rain drops over to the pavilion

The rain was blowing in and the tables and floor were wet

We skipped Mary due to getting caught up in good conversation relating to our Q point.  No one seemed to mind cutting the workout a little short.

COT: Men’s conference in Baltimore Saturday, October 21; prayers for Potsie’s business move and prayers for Life’s Choices banquet

5 PAX went to Four Twelve for coffeeteria where we were met by Pocahontas’ 2.0 and 3.0s.
