Baby Bear’s Porridge

Monday, wet ground, 34 seemed warmer than expected.

Disclaimer accepted by all in attendance.

Warm-up: 1/4 mile mosey, along the way – side shuffle, butt kickers, bending, and high knees.  IC – SSH, grass pickers, monkey humpers, Abe Vigodas, side lunge, leg swings, quad stretch, and calf stretch.

Cardio: 1/4 mile run including backwards jog.  3 hills, line hops, and fast feet.

Strength: Pull-up station: 3 sets of 3-5 pulls-ups with low plank, back plank, and side plank between sets.
Arm station: 2 rounds of 15 military presses with 30 LBS, 15 curls with 30LBS, 20 backrows with 15 LBS, 15 skull crushers with 30 LBS, and 5 man makers with 30 LBS. Recovery exercises between reps included huggy bears, shruggy bears, and Morroccn night clubs.

Mary: dealer’s choice ab exercises included big boys, Alabama prom dates, pickle pushers, flutter kicks, reverse sit-ups, and American hammers with 15LBS.

COT: COR, NOR, announcements and prayer requests.

Cowboy wisdom: Although I wasn’t looking forward to the workout when I left the house, after it was over I felt great.  The workout wasn’t so difficult that I was in pain throughout the day, yet it wasn’t too easy that I felt like I could have done much more in that time period.  It was just right, like Baby Bear’s porridge.
