Conditions: It was a darkened, partly cloudy, cool start to the recovery workout, after a brutal 2.5 hour Manniversary the previous day.
Four PAX overcame the soreness and tightness of the Manniversary to come out for a recovery workout of yoga, led by YHC. Mats were set-up and all PAX were instructed on proper breathing in real-time with all exercises.
Warm-a-Rama/Thang/Mary: This was a yoga flow practice that started with standing in anatomical position with eyes closed and emphasis on deep breathing to set a tone for the practice. Exercises included: swan dive, upward dog, downward dog, chair pose, crescent pose, warrior one, warrior two, angle pose, single leg stance, tree pose, forward bend, triangle pose, cobra, child’s pose, Superman, hurdler’s stretch, IT band stretch, rotational spine stretch, butterfly, straddle stretch (middle/right/left), supine rotational trunk stretch, corpse pose, and Indian style sitting with namaste to close practice.
