Even though I didn’t have my alarm set, this morning I got a wake up call from God. He said, “Be faithful to what you committed to do.” So I went to the cancelled workout just in case some guys didn’t get the message. Four FNG’s were waiting for me.
Beckenbauer Warm-up: Static stretches- neck circles, trunk roll, hamstrings stretch, calf stretch, jogging, butt kickers, high knees, side shuffling, skipping, bending, backwards jogging.
The Thang – Three rounds of 4 Corners. PAX jogged through the four corners of the parking lot doing 10, 20, 30, or 40 reps at each corner. 10 Corner, first round – burpees. Second round – Walmarts. Third round crunchy frogs. 20 Corner, first round – Merkins. Second round, staggered-hand Merkins. Third round crab cakes. 30 Corner – first round, WWI. Second round – six inches, ten count around the PAX. Third round – flutter kicks. 40 Corner – first round, squats. Second round, line hops. Third round – one-footed squats.

Some Merlot was splashed, some FNG’s were named, and I’ll take a wake up call like that any day.
