Conditions: Clear, full moon, 21 degrees, light breeze
The PAX descended on the AO by TRUCK, prius, and ON FOOT! Even Downsize stopped by with a message that Drop Box was running late but didn’t stick around for the run since he had to run (figuratively).
The air was frigid but we were raring to go.
Warm-a-rama: SSH, Grass Pickers, Toy Soldiers, Side Squats, Best Stretch Ever, Calf Stretch, Mountain Climbers
Initially 3 PAX headed out behind the school but as we crossed the entrance road, Drop Box came in hot and flagged us down. Mosey back to the parking lot to pick up Drop Box who had to hit the ground running as we headed out again. Again, we started crossing the entrance road and Uptown Girl noticed a vehicle pulling in that he thought may be Stair Master so we started back again. However, it proved to not be the case. Now we headed out in earnest.
Uptown Girl suggested the route in order to orient YHC to the area as this was just my second appearance at this AO.
We ran down Mill Creek Road to Willow Lane to Route 100; circle around Weiss Market back to Willow Lane and back to the school. YHC estimates ~ 3 miles total running.
COT: prayers for two M’s (recovery from allergy attack; busy work schedule) and a 2.0 (direction in life).
It was a very satisfactory way to begin the day. Always thankful for my brothers and their encouragement and support and the F3 community.
