Rudolph the Red-Nosed Elephant Run

19 degrees and clear, with a very cool sliver of the moon on the horizon. The waiver accepted by all and we got to it at 5:15am.

Warm up: IC: SSH, Merkins, OYO: high stretches, neck rolls, trunk rolls, side lunges

The Thang: The three of us headed west on Sauerkraut for about a mile and zigzagged back through side streets (the route coincidentally looking like the popular Christmas elephant), mixing it up with some ground swipes. Chat-orama is encouraged which makes a 30 minute run feel like 5 minutes, final distance 2.86 miles. Back to the parking lot at 5:54.

Mary: Dealer’s choice of simple stretches, high planks, ground stretches.

COT: COR, NOR, prayer requests, announcements, finished in prayer . The St Lukes Half Marathon, www.stlukeshalfmarathon.com.  is 4/28/19. There’s some interest amongst the PAX to take part. If you’re not up for a 13.1 mile mosey, there’s a 5K, Family Fun Walk, and Kids Race.
