Persevere

The workout theme was perseverance and so was the topic for discussion.

5:30 AM Disclosure followed by a 1/4 mile+ mosey

Warm-up: arm circles, sun gods, grass pickers, squats, and lunges

Ease in to The Thang with another mosey, then plank work with a discussion of perseverance. Plank jacks, Peter Parker‘s, side planks each side, and Merkins.

The Thang
Partner work doing a ladder of pull-ups and alternating back rows on the swings. Pull-ups started at 15 and descended by two alternating with back rows. Back rows started at 2 and increased by 2. Each partner rotated while each did a different exercise. Pull-up ended at 1 rep and rows increased to 16. This followed with a mosey and wall work — People’s chair and storytelling about perseverance. Hold people’s chair and perform arm raises, leg lifts, and shoulders.
Mosey around the circle for 10 Burpee‘s and a round of Mary. Announcements and prayers for the past, our community, and our nation.
