Ladders, Burpees & Flutter Kicks

Five #HIM met up for some fun at the Blast Furnace.

The disclaimer was given. We circled up for warm up of Arm Circles, Circle Arms, Imperial Walkers, SSHs, and light stretching. Then we took a warm up lap around the park.

We went to the baseball outfield where Katniss & YHC had laid out two lengths of agility ladders. One pax run through the ladders while the rest of the pax did an exercise. As the first man reached the end of the first ladder, the next would go start their run and so on. Upon completing the circuit, the pax would join in group exercise again. After a few rounds, with some bear crawls thrown in, we moseyed to the stage for combination of incline merkins, derkins and dips with interspersed runs around the statue of Mr Reeves.

From there we moved to the grass by the gazebo for a burpee waterfall from 10 reps down to 1. Sufficiently gassed from the burpees, we took a slow recovery run around the park to end up back at the agility ladders. We did a few more circuits on the ladders and returned to the flag.

At the flag we did planks, one hand planks, half merkin holds and then ended on 7 sets of 10 flutter kicks in cadence.
