Fog, Fog & More Fog

It was a Downrange Q for me and after a fog laden drive to the Bee Hive, YHC had privilege to lead a great group of High Impact Men. I was especially heartened to be working out with my brother-in-law Uptown Girl and to have Lowes join us from Valley Forge as well.

We circled up in the parking lot and moseyed down to the back lot where the light was much better. There we did a warm up that included a Patriotic 50 set of merkins.

For the Thang, we did a series of runs across the parking lot, dropped for an exercise, ran back across the lot and did SSH until the 6 came in. Examples of the exercises would be burpees, star jumps, flying squirrels, tuck jumps, clock merkins, squat jumps, decline merkins and other nastiness.  After every fourth set of runs, we circled up for planks, merkin waterfalls and caterpillar merkins. For a little break in the action we also did a Tribe Trot around the parking lot.

After about 40 joyful minutes, we moseyed to a covered pavilion in order to get in some core work. On a very nice, but slightly slippery, stage we performed mountain climbers, flutter kicks, wall sits, balls to the wall, a shoulder crushing super set of Moroccan night clubs – seal claps – overhead claps – circle arms – arm circles, and we closed on a flutter kick – lbc combo.

We moseyed back to parking lot and did 20 burpees as a penalty for 2 late arrivals. After that were a few announcements and the CoT with intentions for a few ill family members.

I came away very impressed with the men of F3 Lehigh Valley and appreciative of the opportunity to share a boot camp with them.
