First Time Re-Tread

Q’d for Dr. Seuss this morning. As this was my first attempt, I borrowed one of his previous lesson plans (only forgot a couple things). If you’re thinking of Q-ing, #CTHT, you’ll get support from the PAX like I did, thanks gang. Disclaimer verbally accepted and we got to it at 5:30, and finished up just before the rain.

Conditions: cloudy, 47 degrees, calm.

Warm-up: IC – Abe Vigodas, SSH, Grass pickers, and Huggy bears, trunk and necks rolls – OYO.  Pain train to Hamilton Blvd.

The Thang: DORA. Round 1: While partner A does squats, Partner B runs up the hill, does 5 SSH and jogs down to partner.  They swap places and continue cumulative count of squats until total=200.  Mosey to north entrance.

North entrance recovery exercises: 1 round of 10 Derkins followed by 10 Morroccan sun gods.  Mosey to Pull-up station.

DORA Round 2:  While Partner A does Peter Parkers, Partner B jogs to pull-up station, does 3 pull-ups, and returns to partner.  They swap places and continue cumulative count to 200 Peter Parkers.

DORA Round 3:   While Partner A does X’s and O’s, Partner B jogs to pull-up station does 5 knee-to-chest raises, and returns to partner.  They swap places and continue cumulative count to 200 X’s and O’s.  Finishing early earned low planks. Mosey to Blocks Station.

EFBS (Everybody’s Favorite Blocks Station): 2 Rounds of 10 shoulder presses, 10 curls, 10 back rows each side, and 5 parking spaces lunge walks with blocks held over head.

Mary — American Hammers, WWI sit-ups, and Flutter Kicks.  COT & prayer for the wives who are on the mission trip to Thailand. Kudos to Beaker for finishing this morning up as Flame and I had to cut out early. And also to Flame for bringing the flag and keeping me on track.
