Warm-up

Ha! Right to it.

The Thang

Per Downsize's plan, we ran one short loop on the flat, then three of the usual loops (i.e. hills included). 7.44 miles, c. 70 minutes. Talk is of doing 8.5ish next Wednesday. Come and see.

Mary

Well, bagels provided by Downsize. Took maybe 6 minutes to wolf those down.

Circle of Trust

Done. NB: The Nantan introduced the idea of a "30 and 30" beatdown. Basically, and he will correct me when I get this wrong, once and a while, hold a really intense first half of the beatdown, then spend the second half on a coffeteria/discussion. Meant to address the reality that F3 could do more to develop comradery with those PAX who can't make a Saturday coffeteria and Q Source discussion, but who show up at a bunch of weekday events. Idea was well-received by the small group, but merits discussion at each AO.

Then, bizarrely, the parking lot at Trexler filled up with cars while we were running. Usually there's just 1-2 other cars with guys blazing up after a night shift stocking shelves at the grocery store on Cedar Crest. Oh, and the guy with the hearse. Not sure what he's up to, but it never seems prudent to go knock on the window. Anyway, later we heard many voices shouting. Then, last lap, we encounter what I think was the entire Army ROTC component from Lehigh Valley colleges. Running in this big caterpillar formation, chanting sanitized-for-your-protection cadence. Guy with a flag leading the column. They seemed harmless, so we let them pass.
