Crazy 8’s

Conditions: It was a dark, partly cloudy, cool start of the beatdown with a temperature of 36 degrees.

Warm-a-Rama: A select number of dynamic and static exercises were selected to initiate the warm-up. The warm-up continued with a long mosey to the pull-up pavilion on the far east of the park.

“Thang and Mary:” The routine selected was called Crazy 8’s, where 8 different exercises were selected and performed in a ladder fashion from 1 to 8 and back down the ladder with Mary incorporated before the climb down the ladder. Crazy 8 exercises are as follow:

    Incline Merkins
    Box Jumps
    Tricep Dips
    Squats
    Burpees
    Decline Merkins
    Big Boy Sit-Ups
    Pull-Ups

Mary exercises featured flutter kicks to 60 reps in cadence, 20 reps of LBC’s in cadence performed by each posted PAX member. Most, if not all, PAX was able to complete the Crazy 8 ladder up and down in the alloted time.
