Christmas day special:
The Pax decided that our little ones would probably sleep past 6:15 a.m. so we decided “why not?”
While reading the story of the first Christmas from Luke 2 the Pax planked. Periodically, the Pax broke plank to act out the story. E.g., down on one knee for lunges when the text mentions that Mary and Joseph were engaged, Bobby Hurleys to commiserate with morning sickness. As the text does not mention how Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem, the Pax took turns guessing and acting out the mode of travel: wheelbarrow, army crawl, bear crawl, crawl bear, broad jumps, dragon walk, but kickers, high-knees, lunge walk, gorilla walk, etc.
