Christmas Day Run

Despite the holiday and celebration of Christ’s birth, three men braved 18 degree temperatures with clear skies and moonlit road/trails to participate in a four mile run starting at Willow Lane Elementary to Faith Church. Since there were no FNG’s, the disclaimer was understood and consent was provided via Aye! Warm-a-Rama: Quick jog for one minute, imperial walkers, Abe Pagoda’s, Grass Pickers, and Demotivators from 5 to 1. The Thang: I set a metronome for a base pace of 180 bpm (which was later turned off) and all three of us jogged our way to Faith. Having only done this run before, Dynamite led the route by memory and was successful in getting the other two PAX to the top of Faith Church’s parking lot. The PAX jogged back with great mumble chatter regarding struggles with relationships and some knowledge from a fitness book Dynamite is currently reading. Mary consisted of some brief stretching for up to 20-30 seconds. Count-a-Rama: 3. Name-a-Rama: see above. Praises and prayers provided. I want to give a virtual T-clap to X-man for gritting through knee struggles to complete the run. Strong work, sir!
