A Boootiful Beatdown

7 PAX posted for a Boootiful Beatdown on Halloween morning where we were accompanied by an illuminated Blue Moon.

Warmarama

We began Our warm up by doing some lateral lurker lunges followed by Frankenstein Walks. we then moved on to warming up our arms by doing a bat wings routine which was forward arm circles, backward arm circles, seal claps, and overhead clips, 20 each in cadence.

The Thang

We moseyed to the playground where we used pull up bars to reach max reps of pull-ups to begin The Thang.  next we hung for the packs to count to 10 for each man, then did 20 knee ups. We made our way over to the basketball court, where we grabbed a partner.  Partner a did walk the plank and held the sword the length of court and sprinted back.  Partner be did Spiderman Merkins and shot the web.  The PAX moseyed over to the stage area where we did Rest In Peace.  The Q reminded the men that Rest In Peace is often associated with death, but we can experience that in the here and now.  RIP was reverse lunge(20 In cadence), Irkins (30), Plank Jacks (20 in cadence).  It was time for the block party to begin so the PAX grabbed a coupon on the way to the football field.  Partner A did Goblin Squats, while partner B did Murder Bunnies to 50 yard line and Shuttle carried back.  The PAX carried the block to the parking lot and each man picked a parking spot, hopped across the length of the spot and did 5 Grave diggers with the block, hopped back to the beginning of the parking spot and back to the block for 2 rounds. After putting the blocks back it was time for some zombie fighting training, which was two minutes of shadowboxing.  We were reminded of how long 2 minutes can be.  We ended The Thang where we ran like a bat out of hell.  The PAX Ran into Freddy Krueger,  had to turn around and sprint back the opposite way, then ran into, Jason Vorhees, then ran into Michael Meyers, then ran back to the shuttle flag for a round of Bloody Mary.
