Share the Burden

Friday, November 30.  Dry, not as cold as I expected.

Disclaimer verbally accepted by all.

Warm -up:  IC – Abe Vigodas, SSH, side lunge, grass pickers, merkins, Peter Parkers.  OYO huggy bears, shruggy bears, calf stretch, and a minute for whatever else needs to stretch.  Mosey to tent, just like Indians; get it? Intense. That’s a pun.

In tent, in cadence: mountain climbers, imperial walkers, and arm circles.  Mosey to hill.

At hill:  Three 30-30-30’s up the hill.  Jog back to bottom of hill.  One round of fast feet, line shuffles, and one-footed hops up the hill.  Mosey to pull-up station.

At pull-up station, one PAX does 3-5 pull-ups while the other PAX do “Around-the-World Merkins.”  Two rounds. Mosey to coupons station.

At coupon station PAX were introduced to the theme verse (Gal. 6:2) and “the burden” in the form of a heavy punching bag, estimated weight 70 lbs.  While one PAX carried the burden from stop sign to stop sign, the other PAX completed arm exercises.  Arm exercises included curls, military presses, and back rows.  After each PAX carried the burden individually, they shared carrying the bag.  It was much easier carrying the bag with others helping.  Lesson learned.

Two laps of cool down run and mumble chatter about the theme.  Stretching OYO.

COT: NOR, COR, announcements, prayer requests.
