Conditions: It was a dark, clear and cold start to the morning with a temperature of 34 degrees.
“Thang:”
The ruck started in the lower parking lot of the pavilion and trekked to Shantz road, briefly, then onto Windermier followed by a quick right onto Wyndam Dr. Wyndam Dr and Windermier met, but Wyndam continued. A left turn was made on Alexander Dr or Ln and continued for about 0.5 miles where a left turn was made. The ruck trekked for one block to Hopewell for about 0.5 miles and intersected with Tamarak Ln, but continued straight on Hopewell back to to Lone Lane Park. The ruck concluded with a trek through the woods and circled back to the pavilion for the start of the beatdown. Altogether, the ruck was 2.46 miles in 40 minutes. Time was well spent getting intimate with God and just worshipping him through song. Two of my favorite songs where I just sing at the top of my lungs are: “Raise a Hallelujah” by Bethel Music and “Come to the Altar” by Elevation Worship. I’m sure I woke up a few neighbors at 0500 in the morning with my wall shattering, trumpet sounding voice, but I’m ok with it.
