I guess the guys all opted to spend the morning in their tree stands. No one showed up. I waited until 7:05 and was about to give up and head home when I heard something on the radio at that moment about men were made to do hard things (it wasn’t an F3 podcast but it sure sounded like it). OK, that was my push to get out and forge ahead with the workout.
I ran along the river to the Bartram Trail ~ 3 miles. I’m glad I did. I had the trails all of myself and it was a chilly but beautiful morning with a mist hanging in the air. It felt good to be alive.
I even went to Four Twelve afterward and connected with one of the baristas to get the details on helping her out with a move later that afternoon.
All in all, it was a satisfying day. The Grill is still burning and ready for when the rest of the PAX return from hunting.
