Ruck – Swamp

Conditions: It was a dark, wet, but mild start to the day with a temperature of 42 degrees.

“Thang:” Two posted for the ruck at the swamp, Dr. Seuss and I (Dynamite). We started in the Swamp parking lot and trekked to Main St. We hiked east on Main St, south onto Glenwood Dr, west on Vine St and stopped one block shy of the intersection of Vine St and Fairview St. Seuss and I trekked retraced the above route back to the Swamp with the rain picking up. Fulfilling mumble chatter was had with regard to the COVID-19 virus and its effects on the globe in many ways, discussion of impact COVID-19 on schools and universities and the challenges presented to teachers and professors to meet the needs of the students to complete the school year and semester. We then discussed how the pandemic is drawing us closer to our families and to God. Total distance covered: 2.3 miles.
