Pre-CSAUP Ruck

Conditions: A new dawn with new mercies was upon Dr. Seuss and I at the Bee Hive this morning at 0530. It was a mostly sunny start, without wind with a temperature of 64 degrees.

“Thang:” Dr. Seuss and I began the ruck in the Shimerville Rd parking lot and trekked east onto PA Ave, south on to 11th St, east onto Arch St, southeast/west in the Rodale park, and west onto 10th St/South Mountain Dr. At the 0600 alarm, Dr. Seuss and I ascended to the South Mountain Dr Animal Training Center. We rucked the same route in reverse and made it back to the Hive with five minutes to spare. Dr. Seuss and I have great mumble chatter on our respective jobs, COVID-19 and it’s effects on health and economy, God’s great promise of providing for our needs, and some American Romanticism (O’ Captain, my Captain!) and Dead Poets Society.

Seuss, I appreciate you coming out and rucking with me! I was a lonely couple of Saturday’s rucking solo!
