Today marked the start of a new year and new decade, but it was business as usual at Willow Lane Elementary, where two PAX and one FNG braved 31 degree temperatures with a wind gust, mostly cloudy skies, and little light. All principles of F3 were stated to the FNG and all agreed to the principles.
Warm-a-Rama:
Side straddle hops x30 in cadence, high knees x30 in cadence, Abe Pagoda’s x30 in cadence, Monkey Humpers x30 in cadence, and Motivators from 5 to 1.
The Thang:
The run started at Willow Lane Elementary School and progressed to the mid-point at Route 100 and back. In total the run was 3.58 miles. There was good mumble chatter as the PAX asked probing questions to get to know the FNG. At the conclusion of the run, a few stretching exercises that targeted the hamstrings, hip flexors, quads and calves was performed for a cool-down.

Name-a-Rama: New FNG was given the F3 name Van Gogh, with Open House as the proud papa and FNG-UA.
CoT: Prayers for Drop Box’s family and himself, prayers for all PAX, M’s and 2.0’s that braved the NYD hike at Blue Rocks, and prayers for everyone’s health.
