Deck of Pain – Hulk Style

Conditions: It was a dark, mostly cloudy, and cool start to the beatdown with a temperature of 49 degrees.

Warm-a-Rama: OYO prior to the start of the beatdown.

“Thang & Mary:” Deck of Pain (not the F3 version, although this mentioned three times t/o the workout by Dynamite). There were four exercises associated with each suit of the card. Each exercise was performed “in cadence” according to the face value of the card. Jacks = 11 reps, Queens = 12 reps, Kings = 13 reps, Jokers = 10 Burpees and 10 Burpees with Split Squat. Below are the exercises associated with respective suits.

    Hearts = Tricep Dips (modify up with feet elevated)
    Spades = Accordions
    Diamonds = Air Squats
    Clubs = Merkins (modify by performing staggered, diamond, wide, plyometric staggered, etc)
    Aces of all suits = Hill Sprints x5 laps with a selected exercise performed to the six and a mosey back to the deck

Announcements: 

    Treehugger and Dynamite are planning a hike to Sun Fish Pond on the Delaware Water Gap (Jersey side) for Saturday May 2, 2020. Departure time will be 0600, location TBD. Anyone interested is asked to reach out to Treehugger or Dynamite.

This is my, Banner’s, VQ and all of you men did an excellent job getting through that tough workout. We almost completed the deck. We only had 5 cards to go. Thank you for being supportive and allowing me to deliver on a good beatdown.
