Beehive Ruck 01/11/20

It was a damp, cloudy, warm (for January) at 51 degrees in the dark gloom of the Beehive where five HIM’s accepted the challenge to accelerate up 10th street hill. Two PAX went 0.0 for ruck, one due to illness and the other due to injury, which increased the pace of the ruck for the other three PAX that had a ruck sack donned. Great mumble chatter was from the front and the six of the ruck. A shout out to Quadzilla for keeping pace with Dynamite and Mani (packless) during the ascension of 10th street hill. I, Dynamite, felt I failed this group this morning because I didn’t drop back for the six and because there was an instance where Uptown Girl nearly became a permanent fixture on the macadam, as a car nearly hit him. However, by the grace of God and the other eyes and mouths of the PAX, Uptown was spared to make it back safely to the ‘Hive’ and continue being the HIM he is! PAX it won’t happen again. I’m accountable, as leader of the ruck, to ensure you all make it through safely and I’m committed to that moving forward. I need to start living the third F. Today is that day!
