It’s getting cooler in the mornings. Good news because things were about to heat up! 4 of us gathered in the gloom for the BDE mile.
Warmup: We just did the world’s greatest stretch or at least a reasonable variation. Then we mosied to the starting spot for the beatdown.
The Thang: For the BDE mile we had 400 meters measured out at 100-meter increments. The conversion rate was 3.28 feet per meter.
The challenge was for distance in 45 minutes. We run 400 meters then do 5 BDE Burpees = Burpee/Bonnie Blair/Jump Squat. Then run 400 meters back and do 5 BDE Merkins = Hand Release Merkin/Peter Parker on Right side/Hand Release Merkin/Peter Parker on Left side/Hand Release Merkin. 3 Merkins per. Then rinse and repeat for 45 minutes.
The Pax were properly smoked and there was no time left for anything but COR, NOR and COT
