Another beautiful late summer afternoon! 5 PAX posted for a Beaker-led a random series of exercise routines.
Warm-a-rama: Mosey to Death Valley — SSH, Imperial Walkers, Grass Pickers, Abe Vigoda, Plank Jacks, Calf Stretch
The Thang: Randorama
- Scout Run: group moseys down the path along the river all the way to State Street; in turn (youngest to oldest) each PAX sprints out in front as far as he want to go and the returns.
- ATM: 15 Alternating Shoulder Taps, 10 Tempo Merkins, 10 Fast Merkins
- Scout Run back to vicinity of the Shovel Flag
- No Surrender: 10 each leg IC
- Mosey to furthest small pavilion along the trail
- 10 Tucks
- Mosey to the Shovel Flag
- WMD: Wide, Regular, and Diamond Merkins 10 each
- Mosey to the hill half way to the dugouts
- Quadraphilia: NUR (or KLAW) up the hill and run back down; repeat for a full 4 minutes
- Mosey to the stairs behind the dugouts
- Deep Sea Diver: Plank with feet on bottom step; 1 set of hip slappers and move up one step. Continue to the half-way landing on the steps except for Myra who made it the entire flight up the stairs.
- Bear Crawl down the bank alongside the stairs
- Mosey back to the shovel flag
- Captain Thor: 1 Big Boy Sit up: 4 American Hammers; ladder up to 5 Big Boy Sit ups: 20 American Hammers
Mary: Dealer’s Choice — completed a few rounds of various ab exercises
The police chief stopped by to check on us or more importantly that our flag was upright. Prior to the workout while I was waiting for the PAX to show up I was talking with my M and Thumper’s M who were going for a walk during the workout and he had to tell me to attend the flag which had fallen over. I’m thankful for his vigilance and support!
