01/24/2023 - Swamp - K.E.G. Work Out

Conditions: 35 degrees, brisk 15 mph wind, clear. I’d be lying if I didn’t say we ducked behind buildings to get out of that breeze when possible. 5 Core Principals agreed to and we got on it:

K.E.G. (Krucial Event Guidelines) WORK OUT

As I started this year as the 2nd F guy, I pondered what made previous F3 events successful and came up with 4 simple principals (Krucial Event Guidelines or KEG) that were followed:

With these in mind, I created the Thang to focus on each one.

Your WING MEN are guys that will want to help; allow them to. Sharing burdens IS leadership, it helps others grow. In Matthew 11:28-30, there’s discussions of being ‘weary and burdened’, but read more closely. Who is saying ‘take my yolk’? Who says ‘learn from me’? For those up on the Lexicon, it’s the Sky Q!

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Men who posted also received the first edition of the 2nd F Event Calendar. Let’s get them on our fridges and into our neighbors hands. In very WING MAN type fashion, Slice mentioned he was heading out to Fleetwood tomorrow morning so he grabbed a few copies of the calendar to hand out there. This is not to say it’s the only way to create an event. However, it has proven to be very successful. Fellowship can only make us stronger!
