In a continuation of my Grip-Strength Campaign from the Swamp, we bounced around the AO focusing on core and grip exercises.
Conditions: 48 degrees, damp, calm
We circled up (in a line), disclaimers agreed to, the regular variety of warm-ups, and got to it.
The Thang:
Mosey to Pavilion:
Grip Strength – table lift
Dips
Slowburn Step ups (I may re-name this ‘Mr Miyagi’ as the peak move looks like his Swan Technique, “no can defend”. Less of a strength-builder and more of a patience and coordination tester
Mosey to Playground:
Banana hand at play ground (hang with your legs forward in the shape of a banana
Underdogs
60 second hangs
Mosey to Coupon Shed:
chest/shoulder squats
Kettle swings
Single hand carries twice around the stage, switching hands (tougher than it sounds)
Field:
Tent Inch worms – Dry Dock position inch-worming down to hand-release merkin, inch worm back up across the field. Wet, miserable.
Hill:
Bear crawls up the hill stopping at each plateau for 5 merkins
Mosey back to the flag for COR, NOR, COT
