11/02/2023 - Trojan - Field of Dreams or Nightmares!

Warm-up: Stretches to Right Ankle, Left Ankle, Middle,  Grass Pickers (10 IC), Monkey Humpers (10 IC), Mericans (10 SC), WGS, On Six, Stretch Right In, Right Over Left and Twist,  Stretch Left Leg in, Left over Right and In.  SSH (15 IC)

The Thang:   Left overs from the Q’s most recent beatdown that was the result of a deep dive into the Exicon.  Like all left overs they are better the 2nd time around!.  3 Parts      Dominoes, Field of Dreams, and Land and Sea.

Thang 1:  Dominoes.   We took a mosey to the end of the parking and then turned around looking for a curb.   Found one back near the flag.    Dominoes is a plank based exercise.     The PAX line up shoulder to shoulder with there hands on the curb.   They start in the left high plank position (left hand in the air and right hand on the curb).   The front of the line drops down to two hands down and does 3 Mericans.  After the 1st PAX is done the 2nd PAX drops down and does 3 Mericans.  So on and so forth until all the PAX have completed the 3 Mericans.   Rinse and repeat, but we need to create the symmetry.  So Right hand up and left hand on the curb.    The idea is as the PAX slowly drop down to do the Mericans it resembles the dominoes tipping over.

Thang 2:  Field of Dreams (or Nightmares)    The Q slightly altered the original Field of Dreams to accommodate the conditions of the day.     The idea is one PAX does 5 Burpees at Home plate, than runs to the rest of the PAX.  Once all collected the next PAX moseys to home plate and the rest of the PAX mosey to the next base.   Each base has a designated exercise,  the exercise is to be complete AMRAP, while the PAX on home plate is performing the 5 Burpees and run to the group.  1st base was High Plank, 2nd base was Mericans, 3rd base was Dry Docks.    We did 2 sets, so each PAX did 10 Burpees total.

Thang 3:   Land and Sea.   This was a rinse and repeat from a previous beatdown the Q performed.   It was brutal last time and was just as brutal this time.  We moseyed to the basketball court.    All PAX lined up on the baseline.   Land portion was a Bear Crawl to center court.  Sea portion was crab walk to the other base line.   Sandwiched in-between Land and Sea were Burpees!   We climbed down the ladder starting at 5 Burpees and climbed down to 1.     The process went as follows

Bear Crawl, 3 Burpees, Crab Walk, mosey back to starting baseline
