The Thang: After reading The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter, I decided to take the advice of the experts and revert to typical ancestral movements for physical health. The research shows that squats, lunges, planks, bending, twisting, hanging, and hinge movements promote physical stability and overall health. So using 15-25 lbs. dumbbells, we completed 3 rounds of 15 squats, 15 yard lunge walk with weights in high and low position, glute bridge with chest fly, skull crushers, and bench press, low, side, and back plank, and hanging for a count of 50 from the pull-up bars.
Twisting exercises included Abe Vigodas, American hammers, windshield wipers – IC x 10.
Bending exercises included partner leg throws and v-ups.
