In an attempt to get the PAX in the Christmas spirit the Q played “The 12 Days of Christmas” during the warm-up; which was a prelude to the Thang
Warm-up- Neck rolls (OYO), Trunk Rolls (OYO), Ankle Rolls (OYO), Shoulder Shrugs (OYO), stretch to the left ankle, stretch to the right ankle, stretch to the center. Grass Pickers (10 IC), Abe Vigoda’s (10 IC), Monkey Humpers (10 IC), and WGS
Mosey around the circle, line up on the road between the start and end of the circle.
The Q prompted the PAX to pay close attention to the song during the warm-ups, because we would be performing our best reproduction, with the F3 12 Days of Christmas. The Q came prepared with 12 index cards with 12 different exercises (and whether cadence, straight count, or OYO). He strategically passed out the index cards. One per PAX with 3 for the Q. We would sing the day and perform the exercise of that day. As the song goes along we would count up the days, but doing all the proceeding days as well. So in the end we would do all the exercised from Day 12 all the way down to Day 1. The Rep Count really increases rapidly with this one! By the Q’s tabulation we performed a total of 438 reps, ouch.
And the choir sang:
On the 1st day of Christmas my Q gave to me a “Mosey around the cirlce”
On the 2nd day of Christmas my Q gave to me 2 Plank Destroyers and a Mosey around the circle
On the 3rd day of Christmas my Q gave to me 3 Squats, 2 Plank Destroyers, and a Mosey around the cirlce
etc.
etc.
etc.
1st Day- Mosey around the circle
2nd Day- 2 Plank Destroyers (It tooks us all 12 days, but the cadence is a 12 count)( Hi plank, Makhtar N Dayer, Hi Plank, Merikan, Shouler Tap, and Plank Jack = 1)
3rd Day- 3 Squats (SC)
4th Day- 4 American Hammers (IC)
5th Day- 5 Burpees (OYO)
6th Day- 6 Merkins (SC)
7th Day- 7 Crab Cakes (IC)
8th Day- 8 LBC (SC)
9th Day- 9 Plank Jacks (IC)
10th- 10 SSH (IC)
11th Day- 11 Carolina Dry Docks (SC)
12th Day- 12 Mountain Climbers (IC)
The crowd grew quiet and mumble chatter was non-existent around day 8 or 9. We were doubtful we would complete all 12 days, but to our surprised (and dismay) we completed all 12 days exactly at 6:15.
Mosey back to the flag
