Swamp Run

8 PAX posted for a romp around the figurative swamp trying out new exercises. We’ll see if any of them catch on and make appearances in upcoming workouts.

The disclaimer was given and the PAX moseyed to the flag pole for Warm-a-rama: SSH, Abe Vigoda, Grass Pickers, Imperial Walker, Hamstring Stretch, Peter Parker, Best Stretch Ever.

The Thang:
Run loop and then Nur to the far parking lot.
• Crowd Pleaser (1 Merkin:1 Groiner, increase to 5:5 and back to 1:1)
• Burpee Dans (1 Burpee:2 Lunges, increase by 1 until reach 6 Burpees: 12 Lunges) across the parking lot
• 20 American Hammers
• 10 Sphinx Merkins
Run along Lehigh Street to the back park entrance.
• 10 Side to Side Merkins
• Plank Hurdles for ~ 130 yards
• 10 each of Panerkins/Power Merkins
Off to the band shell area…
• 15 Cliff Hanger Merkins
• Walk Like an Egyptian (Lunge and hold with twist into the lunge, last in line jail breaks to front of line and all take next lunge step) for ~ 75 yards
• 20 Star Fish Crunches
• 20 Dips
Mosey back to the shovel flag or a round of Dealer’s Choice of Mary: Crab Cakes, Big Boy Sit-ups, Freddie Mercury, Dolly, and Parker Peter.

COT: Announcements – convergence in two weeks, evening workout and devotional starting tomorrow evening. Praises and prayers for Cougar’s daughter in her new walk of faith.
