Another cool morning, perfect for a workout.  3 respectable PAX (and empty-nesters) posted at the Grill.  Other (less respectable) PAX had daddy duty getting kids off to the start of school.  Different seasons of life.

No Q was designated so we made it up as we went.

Mosey to the basketball court for warm-a-rama: Arm Circles, Abe Vigoda, Grass Pickers, Zig-Zag Hops, Butt Kickers, Carioca, Toy Soldiers, Best Stretch Ever, Slow to Fast Mountain Climbers

The Thang

Mosey to bottom of Franklin Street.  Cumulative number of reps as a team.  While one PAX ran backward up Franklin Street ~ 80 yards and sprint back, the other two completed as many reps as possible.  After each completed the run we tallied the number of reps completed:  First round: 200 + Merkins; Second round: 250+ Squats; Third round: 300 + LBCs.

Mosey to playground: each did AMRAP of pull-ups while others planked.  We then did another round of AMRAP of pull-ups with assistance.

  • 20 Dips (IC)
  • 20 Irkins with one leg raised (IC) for each leg
  • Underdogs (AMRAP)
  • 25 Box Jumps

Mosey around the baseball field to band stand.

COT: We will plan our Manniversary workout this coming Saturday.  Praises for grandchildren!  Ditto and Pocahontas are expecting their first next year.  YHC has a year head start on them!  Grandkids are great and their parents can get them off to school while the grandfathers go to an F3 workout!  Hey, not too many granddads can do bear crawls with their grandkids!  We’re preparing and raring to go!
